Roxann McLane was adopted from South Korea and grew up in Michigan. She's a future music producer and film composer with experience composing and arranging large ensembles for choir and band. She's composed for student films and on her own time for musical theater.
She's spent most of her life involved in multiple music groups. In high school she performed at Carnegie Hall with choir and was involved in Jazz band, Wind Ensemble, and Marching Band. She was also a vocal director for a musical theater production Alice and Wonderland Jr.
Her goals as a composer are to write music that reflect the hopes and fears of her generation as well as challenge current political ideas.
